Last month for London Fashion week, I went to see the AW14 Leutton postle collection presentation so I wanted to share with as the brand is so artistic you absolutely need to check in.

About the collection

This season Leutton Postle have continued to work with their trademark graphic patterns, experimenting with scale to create a playful and lively collection that breaks down the aesthetic into accessible separates. 

Drawing on monochrome for the first time, the collection plays on contrasts, sitting bold and irregular shapes alongside flashes of their signature bright colour palette.

This play on contrast is also found in the choice of textures and surfaces used. This season the duo have continued their partnership with Lurex®, incorporating a variety of soft textural yarns to sit against the tighter jacquard knits. More surfaces have also been introduced through the use of 'ric rac' embroidered wovens. 

The shoes have been created in collaboration with emerging London brand KULT DOMINI, working together to incorporate different materials, shapes and textures.
